About the project
TALENTGAL is a five-year MSCA COFUND postdoctoral programme that blends top‑tier research with tailored training in transferable skills, shaping highly qualified professionals ready to excel in both academic and non‑academic sectors.
Promoted by the CIGUS Network and supported by the Xunta de Galicia, UDC, USC, UVigo, and more than 40 associated partners, TALENTGAL builds a powerful ecosystem for research excellence.
TALENTGAL offers 40 postdoctoral fellowships to conduct cutting‑edge, interdisciplinary and intersectoral research projects across the 10 research centres in Galicia within the CIGUS Network, recognised for their scientific excellence.

Who can apply
Researchers who comply with the following eligibility criteria:
PhD eligibility:
Must have obtained a PhD within 8 years before the call deadline
Mobility rule:
Must not have lived or worked mainly in Spain for over 12 months within the last 36 months
Publications requirement:
Two peer-reviewed papers, with at least one as first or corresponding author
Open to all nationalities and ages
