Training
The TALENTGAL Programme integrates training, career development and intersectoral exposure through a coherent framework that combines structured training activities, short intersectoral and international stays, and continuous career development support. The training programme is designed to contribute to the fellows’ PCDPs and is structured around the following pillars:
Research and scientific skills, provided by each hosting research centre through a wide range of training activities, including conferences, seminars, and workshops aligned with their research lines and related domains.
Transversal and complementary skills, aligned with the EU Research Competence Framework (RCF) offered by all CIGUS centres. These cover areas such as research ethics, communication & dissemination, teamwork and leadership, career management, entrepreneurship and innovation.
Networking and programme-wide training activities organised within TALENTGAL and equally accessible to all fellows, regardless of host centre or discipline. These mandatory activities address key transferable and societal competencies and include welcome and closing events, communication & gender workshop, industry day, impact workshop and 2-day personal development retreat.
